How to store olive oil
Careful handling of the way you store olive oil will help you maintain
its aroma and taste.
Remember to avoid direct light, heat, excessive cold or contact with
oxygen.
The ideal storage temperature is between 12° to 18° C, although
it is at 28° C that oil releases all its aromas and flavours.
Keep the neck of the bottle impeccably clean and dry to prevent the oil
from oxidizing and turning rancid. Do not pour oil back into the bottle.
Our dark green bottles are made of a special glass that shields the oil
from harmful light rays.
RAVIDA OILBOX®
The RAVIDA Oilbox® will keep your extra
virgin olive oil as fresh as when it was first pressed, its fragrance
and nutritional properties intact. The handy tap on the side of the carton,
will allow you to pour just the amount you require onto your favourite
dish.
Ravida Oilbox®
RAVIDA Oilbox® characteristics:
Extra virgin olive oil is stored in a special polythene bag approved
for food and edible oils protected by a cardboard box, thus the name Oilbox.
Unlike hard containers or tins, oxygen does not come in contact with the
product during the pouring process. As a result, extra virgin olive oil
does not mix with oxygen or light which set off the process of oxidisation,
altering its nutritional properties and flavours.
Easy to use:
RAVIDA Oilbox® is exceptionally handy and
easy to use. It can be carried by means of its plastic handle and placed
on a surface in a corner of your kitchen. An easy-to-use tap allows you
to control the flow and pour just the amount required, in a clean bottle
or directly onto your dishes.
The mixture used is RAVIDA's successful multi award-winning
blend of Biancolilla, Cerasuola and Nocellara.
We are confident RAVIDA Oilbox® will meet
your requirements.
